I was born in Chicago and raised in Saginaw, MI, where I graduated from Heritage High School in 2002. Following high school, I attended Alma College, where I pursued my undergraduate degree in Exercise and Health Science. As a student at Alma, I also played 4 years of NCAA Division 3 College Soccer. After graduating from college in 2006, I began medical school at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, from which I graduated in 2010. I am currently in my fourth and final year of residency through the Michigan State University Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department. Following residency, I plan to complete a 2-year fellowship in Interventional Pain Management, EMG, and Sports Medicine. Outside of work, I enjoyed spending time with my wife, dog, and cats; playing recreational soccer and basketball; running and traveling.
