The MSU Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residents receive stipends, benefits and educational reimbursements through Sparrow Hospital GME, Inc. GME is the non-profit graduate medical education consortium for the Lansing-East Lansing community. GME is a partnership of excellence between the Lansing hospitals (Ingham Regional Medical Center and Sparrow Health System) and Michigan State University (the Colleges of Human and Osteopathic Medicine). GME mission is to support partner institutions in their efforts to provide excellent medical education in the Mid-Michigan Region through diverse, quality educational experiences in a collaborative environment.
